Why You Should Outsource Your Articles

Building a business online requires a lot of hard work. Sometimes, in order to get everything done that you’ll need to do to get ahead, you will need to outsource certain tasks. This becomes critical to being able to turn a profit in a reasonable time frame (i.e., before you run out of seed money). Article writing, in particular Bum Marketing is one of those things where it winds up being more profitable to pay someone else to do them then to spend the time and effort on it yourself. This allows more time for meaningful work such as keyword research, product generation and marketing.

So, if you can afford to do it, outsourcing can save you a lot of hassle and time. This way you can spend your valuable time on keyword research and finding products to promote and are not spending your days writing dozens of articles. Using freelance sites like http://www.Elance.com, http://www.RentACoder.com, http://www.Guru.com or visiting http://forums.digitalpoint.com (no login required) can give you access to plenty of great writers for anywhere from $5-$15 per articles. Usually if you order in bulk, you can get 10-15 good articles for about $100.

When attempting to outsource your articles, keep in mind not to concentrate on just the price you’re paying. Focusing too much on the cost, may lead you to getting low quality articles, which you will have to rewrite. True cost effectiveness may mean that you will have to pay more for your articles, but not need to spend any time editing them. Time is money. And besides, it’s only natural for someone who knows he is a better writer to require more money.

When you outsource your articles always make sure that you get some samples of the writer’s work to make sure they are able to live up to what they say. Many of the cheaper writes are from countries like India, and only speak English as a second language. Not that I want to be biased, but you’ll preferably want to choose someone whose first language is English. There are some good writers from foreign countries India, but for the most part they don’t do as good a job as someone who speaks English more fluently.

Also remember never to pay in advance as you run the risk of being stiffed or getting low quality or downright crappy articles. You should also make sure ahead of time that potential writers will agree to do at least one revision or edit of the articles they provide you with, provided they’re not up to par.

The trend in bum marketing is to produce a large amount of articles on one particular topic in order to cover most of its subtopics and get coverage for as many of the products related to it as possible. To do this on a larger and more effective scale, outsourcing becomes a necessity. Remember, Bum Marketing is more about quantity then quality. The more articles you have out there earning, the more money you’re going to make.

Outsourcing is easy enough; the hardest part about it is identifying which writers are good and which are not. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error, but to increase your chances of success, try and follow some of the suggestions above. Don’t always go for the cheapest price… when you are looking for a writer that will do a good job you’ll need to pay a little extra. If you need to edit the articles, or even do complete rewrites, you’re really defeating the purpose of outsourcing in the first place.

Perhaps the most difficult part of outsourcing is finding the perfect balance between your time, and the cost of doing it yourself or outsourcing the work. With the right balance, outsourcing will leverage your Bum Marketing efforts to new heights.
