Wow! That is a brash statement, no? And yet, in my own research, that might even be a low figure.
You might ask, what gives you the right to make statements like that?
Here is the real deal: I have nearly 1600 articles personally written and published on EzineArticles and other web sites. And I have spent over $4000 this year in PPC. And I track every person that comes to my web site. So I know how much the average person spends if they come from an article and how they spend if they come from PPC.
So why do I think this is the way it is?
Let me restate, and then explain:
An article-marketed lead is worth ten times as much in responsiveness. It’s a quality that’s ten times higher than that from just about any other traffic source out there… Well, because there’s a credibility that’s generated.
You see, if you have a pay-per-click ad that says, whatever–internet marketing software, special price–whatever. Whatever your internet ad is–your PPC ad is–they come to your page, they don’t know you, the opt-in rate’s like six-percent. They don’t know you, they opt-in, and then you’ve got to prove–you have to get to know them through the email sequence.
They’re not going to buy from you until they trust you.
The difference with article-marketing is by the time they click into your site, they’ve already read, usually more than one article from you. They already trust you, they already believe that you know you’re an expert in your area, they click in, they’re averaging a forty-percent conversion rate, instead of a six-percent, and in your email-campaign you can immediately begin to get down to their needs–they already trust you, you don’t have to use the first eight emails to get to know them. So those are the reasons why article-marketing just generates leads that are just highly-responsive compared to any other lead.
